What We (Will) Do
Chabad of Oviedo-Winter Springs is every Jews home away from home, we treat every Jew as our own family. Our main goal and focus is to educate, inspire, and bring the warmth of Judaism to every Jew in our area through love.
We are in the start up stages of our organization and therefore need your help to create the community that we envision.
We will build a community where everyone feels welcome for who they are, a community that is there for each other, a community that grows together.
We will host holiday celebrations for everyone to enjoy - Grand Chanukah Festivals, A Purim Party, Sukkot Party, Shavuot Party...
We will offer education geared to every level starting with basic Hebrew to advanced Talmud and Chassidus Classes, from one on one learning to lectures for the whole.
We will cater towards the young generation, the ones who will pass on the torch of Judaism. Hebrew School, Tot Shabbat, Ckids, Cteen, just to name a few.
We will form connections with each and every individual caring for them as a Rabbi/Rebbetzin and Mentor.
We will create a synagogue where services are meaningful and inspiring to all.
We will be there to help our fellow, Hospital and senior visitation to lift spirits, warm home cooked meals in times of need, relief efforts for natural disasters, post partum packages to moms celebrating the gift of life.
We will celebrate every milestone with you. Giving your child a Jewish name, a Bar/Bat Mitzvah they wont have PTSD from, A wedding to start a Jewish home of their own.
We will experience Jewish culture and the joy of learning through travel, with community trips to Israel, Crown Heights and others.
We will ensure that all your Jewish needs will be taken care of, Mezuzot? We got it. Tefillin? Yup. Jewish star necklace? you betcha
